Building Impact 2022
Benefiting Partner > New Avenues for Youth | The Living Room
Learn more about Killian Pacific's 2022 annual giving campaign, where every dollar donated was matched up to $50,000 in our inaugural year. We invite you to learn more about last year's benefiting partner, New Avenues for Youth and stay tuned on how to join us in 2023.
In 2022, we reimagined our holiday gifting practices with the creation of a new annual giving campaign: Building Impact. Rather than exchanging gifts, we encouraged our team and network to join us in a donation-matching effort focused on one of our community partner organizations. The goal is to inspire our industry and peers to join us each holiday season to spark lasting positive change for our community by giving together.
In 2022, Killian Pacific partnered with New Avenues for Youth and their LGBTQIA2S+ program, The Living Room, to support the expansion of youth services in the Portland-Metro Area.
Through our collective matching efforts, we raised $50,550
2022 Building Impact Benefiting Partner: New Avenues for Youth | The Living Room
New Avenues for Youth offers an extensive network of services through programs dedicated to advocacy, education, and wrap-around services for youth experiencing housing instability or houselessness in our community. New Avenues’ LGBTQIA2S+ programming is expanding into Clackamas County with the addition of peer-mentor support and new culturally-specific drop-in space.
Youth identifying as LGBTQIA2S+ have a 120% higher risk of experiencing some form of houselessness.
Founded in 1997, New Avenues for Youth is a Portland-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and intervention of youth homelessness.
