Downtown Uprising

With The Hudson, our goal was to define a new vision for Vancouver’s lower Main Street and give people a compelling reason to spend more time in the city center. Conveniently located right off I-5 and adjacent to several coffee shops and local restaurants, the location is tough to beat. We happily officed at The Hudson for 4 years and especially loved the wide-open windows and beautiful mass timber structure.

Designed and Refined

The Hudson’s brick exterior gives the building a classic, timeless feel while the 45,000 square feet of creative office space inside takes a modern approach to workspace design. The Hudson is filled with energy and light thanks to high ceilings, operable windows, and its exposed timber structure. On the ground floor is an open, inviting lobby complete with a local coffee shop–the perfect space for neighbors and tenants to work, relax and socialize.

Serving the Community

The Hudson fulfilled the unmet need for creative office space in Vancouver and has sparked an unprecedented demand for more inspiring workplaces. This building has become a hub for a diverse collection of businesses and has attracted a broad cross-section of tenants including, banking, architecture, technology, and biotech.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

From day one, our partners were key to the success of this project. With multiple perspectives at the table, we were able to take an innovative approach and replicate 100-year-old designs that used load-bearing masonry and post and beam structures. The result is a truly unique and compelling office building in Vancouver’s historic Downtown.
