President
An environmentalist at heart, Adam believes in the importance of building dense, thoughtful, and innovative cities. He sees this as key to protecting and preserving our environment and as an essential strategy for combating climate change. Adam’s background in architecture and environmental studies led him to understand that developers have significant influence over the built environment, and by extension, the natural environment. With this sense of responsibility and stewardship, Adam endeavors to create compelling urban places that are good for people and the planet.
As President of Killian Pacific, Adam is responsible for day-to-day operations and oversees all company functional areas. He ensures that the company’s purpose and social impact initiatives are seamlessly woven into all facets of the business. He is a member of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team and Investment Committee. Additionally, he serves on the ULI Urban Product Council of Portland, the NAIOP DEI Committee, the Portland Metro Chamber Government Relations Executive Committee, and the PSU Center for Real Estate Advisory Board.
Adam has worn several hats at Killian Pacific over the years. Most notably, he has played a key role in our development projects, successfully delivering four heavy-timber office buildings in the Portland metro area. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Kansas State University, a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon, and an MBA from the University of Portland. Adam was born and raised in Kansas and now proudly calls Northeast Portland home, where he resides with his partner Steven and their dog Ollie.
