As Assistant Controller, Jon’s responsibilities include reviewing and verifying financial reporting for various properties, while ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, and providing timely reporting to portfolio management and lenders. Additionally, Jon prepares the consolidated financials and dashboards for ownership. He actively participates in the development of new policies and procedures, leveraging his expertise to enhance process automation and overall efficiency.

Jon was born in Portland and has called the Portland area home ever since. He attended George Fox University where he majored in accounting and competed on the University basketball and golf teams. Jon spent the first 9 years of his career in public accounting, earning his CPA license and working with local businesses and business owners in a variety of industries. In his free time, Jon is typically outside running, golfing, or birdwatching.
