As Portfolio Management Analyst, Karson is responsible for assisting the team with maintaining technology platforms for financial and ESG reporting, underwriting, and administrative tasks across all assets.

Growing up in Hong Kong, one of the most populous cities in the world, Karson established his interest in the built environment and its influence on people’s lives. After obtaining his journalism and communication degree, he began his career as a journalist, covering the city’s politics, housing market, and urban and transportation policies. His interest in real estate then led him to a communications specialist role for a developer where he collaborated with real estate experts and community-driven professionals to create social impact initiatives and sustainability strategies.

After moving to Portland in 2019, Karson attended Portland State University’s Real Estate Development Master’s program with the intent to obtain foundational knowledge in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Killian Pacific, he was an assistant property manager for CBRE where he supported the team in managing all aspects of commercial properties in the greater Portland area.

In his free time, Karson enjoys family adventures with his wife Rachel, and their son, Lucas. He is a huge sports fan who loves to watch his favorite sports teams battling on the pitch.
